El proyecto integró geometría, artesanía y emprendimiento mediante un enfoque STEAM y Aprendizaje Basado en Proyectos. Se enseñaron conceptos geométricos relacionados con los teselados y patrones, aplicándolos en productos artesanales como cojines, origami y lienzos, fomentando habilidades manuales y el pensamiento espacial. Además, se trabajaron nociones de costos y comercialización para impulsar microemprendimientos. La experiencia buscó ofrecer oportunidades educativas flexibles que potenciaran la creatividad, generaran ingresos y contribuyeran al desarrollo personal y social de la población participante, destacando un aprendizaje matemático significativo, contextualizado y aplicado a su vida cotidiana.The report presents the internship “Applied Mathematics: Geometry, Crafts and Entrepreneurship” carried out at the José Félix Restrepo Technical School, aimed at extra-age students, community mothers and senior citizens, within the framework of the Apples of Care program. The project integrated geometry, crafts and entrepreneurship through a STEAM and Project Based Learning approach. Geometric concepts related to tessellations and patterns were taught, applying them to craft products such as cushions, origami and canvases, fostering manual skills and spatial thinking. In addition, notions of costs and commercialization were worked on to promote micro-enterprises.
