Allí es donde es importante establecer la pertinencia de una de las principales guías al momento de establecer actualizaciones en los currículos, como lo son perfiles de egresados, sobre todo en aquellas carreras que tienen interacción directa con la industria. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo establecer si el actual perfil profesional de la carrera de ingeniería industrial de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas responde a estas necesidades crecientes de la cuarta revolución industrial y además si dicho perfil es consecuente con la formación que están recibiendo los futuros egresados.
