Las etnias del departamento del Putumayo tienen como tradición el ritual chamánico del Yagé, en el cual el taita, quien preside la ceremonia, realiza cantos y sonidos rítmicos con los que acompaña cada uno de los momentos del trance, de acuerdo a la necesidad de los participantes. En este trabajo indagaremos por la forma como el participante de este ritual percibe los diferentes sonidos dirigidos por el taita a su cuerpo, y veremos cómo a lo largo de esta experiencia, esta percepción va cambiando junto con su consciencia. Emplearemos los últimos estudios realizados por la ciencia para comprender la percepción del sonido y qué papel desempeña en la ontología del sujeto y su relación con el mundo; también utilizaremos los conocimientos milenarios procedentes de la filosofía perenne para comprender los cambios en la consciencia del sujeto durante el ritual chamánico y cómo esa relación del sujeto con el mundo, al verse desde otra perspectiva, le posibilita al participante sanar y realizar distintos aprendizajes para poder ser feliz.Sound has been used for millennia in the diverse aboriginal cultures of the world, within practices of very different kinds to heal physical ailments and stabilize the psyche. The ethnic groups of the Putumayo department have the shamanic ritual of Yagé as a tradition, in which the taita, who presides over the ceremony, performs songs and rhythmic sounds with which he accompanies each moment of the trance, according to the needs of the participants. In this work, we will inquire into the way the participant in this ritual perceives the different sounds directed by the taita to their body, and we will see how, throughout this experience, this perception changes along with their consciousness.
