El planteamiento del problema surge a raiz de la poca visibilización y pertenencia que se evidencia en esta población al cual se busca dar respuesta con la formulación de un lenguaje apreciativo esperando ofrecer una alternativa que se desmarque de las maneras de nombrar que desarraigan, desestiman, deforman, y desacreditan a las personas afrocolombianas, especialmente en el contexto que aquí se plantea.The present work consists of the description and analysis of the exclusionary language used by the undergraduate students in Bachelor of Education Basic with emphasis on humanities and Spanish language when referring to the Afro-Colombian population that inhabits the academic spaces of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas.
