Análisis de un modelo de volcado de tráfico de redes móviles convencionales hacia un sistema de Voz sobre WiFi-VoWiFi

En situaciones de confinamiento como la ocurrida en los últimos años, se ha observado cómo la conexión a Internet a través de redes fijas, en su mayoría inalámbricas, sigue siendo fundamental para preservar la conectividad de las personas en sus hogares, esto asociado por un lado a los relativos altos costos de las conexiones de datos móviles en comparación al de las redes fijas y por otro a una cobertura celular insuficiente en algunas regiones. En este escenario los sistemas de WiFi siguen teniendo un rol fundamental en los sistemas de comunicaciones actuales, que si bien ya exploradas, permiten la convergencia de servicios con las diferentes tecnologías de telefonía celular y se convierten en una solución de acceso para garantizar servicios como la voz a un bajo costo en comparación con los sistemas convencionales para servicios como el roaming internacional y la voz conmutada.The current investigation shows the result of the analysis of a traffic offload model from a conventional mobile network to a voice over WiFi network, VoWiFi, even though the massification of the instantaneous message systems as chat, email, etc, the voice continues being one of the most effective way to transmit information. In confinement situations as the happened during the last years, has been observed as the internet connections through fix networks, the most of these wireless networks, continues being fundamental to ensure the connectivity of the people in their homes, this is associated on one hand to the relative high cost of the data mobile connections compared with the fix networks and on the other hand to the poor cellular coverage on some regions.
