En el cual se pretende restablecer el componente ambiental del cementerio y compensar los impactos generados dada la mala administración que ha tenido. Se analizó el componente histórico-social y la viabilidad de implementar un eco cementerio, el cual fomente en los habitantes del Municipio la apropiación de ese espacio, dignificando la vida. Para el alcance de este se recolectó información a través de un diagnóstico situacional identificando la línea base, tanto de componentes ambientales (agua, aire, suelo, tierra) como de componentes administrativos y sociales por medio de encuestas y entrevistas. A través de matrices de identificación de aspectos e impactos ambientales y listas de chequeo se logró evidenciar una administración deficiente y gran pérdida de identidad con éste espacio, lo cual ocasiona a su vez abandono social derivando en una administración desinteresada al no haber personas que exijan el cuidado y protección del cementerio.The present work has as objective the formulation of an Environmental Management Plan for the Municipal Cemetery of Güepsa, Santander. In which it is intended to restore the environmental component of the cemetery and compensate the impacts generated due to the mismanagement it has had. The historical-social component and the feasibility of implementing an eco-cemetery were analyzed, which encourages the inhabitants of the Municipality to appropriate this space, dignifying life. For the scope of this, information was collected through a situational diagnosis identifying the baseline, both environmental components (water, air, soil, land) and administrative and social components through surveys and interviews.
