Conscious of the value that the processing can offer to the treatment of compression for varicose veins, this article takes the first step in the development of a dynamic geometric model of the leg that would allow to evaluate the effect of the average of compression as a treatment of the varicose veins A designed protocol is shown for the acquisition of images in RM of inferior limbs, the results of the implementation of several methods of segmentation of these images, that allow to obtain different tissues on hand: bone, muscle, subcutaneous greasy tissue and vasciilar system. Finally 3D representations of the segmerited volumes are shown. The implementations are put together in a series of interactive modules that allow a user to execute the segmentations and to visualize the results.La segmentación es un paso de gran importancia y dificultad en el análisis de imágenes digitales, más aún cuando se trata de imágenes médicas. Consciente del valor que el procesamiento puede brindar al tratamiento de compresión para venas várices, este artículo presenta un primer paso en el desarrollo de un modelo geométrico dinámico de la pierna que permitiría evaluar el efecto de la media de compresión como tratamiento para la vena várice. Se muestra un protocolo diseñado para la adquisición de imágenes en RM de extremidad inferior, los resultados de la implementación de varios métodos de segmentación de dichas imágenes, que permiten obtener los diferentes tejidos presentes: hueso, músculo, tejido graso subcutáneo y sistema vascular. Finalmente se presentan representaciones 3D de los volúmenes segmentados.
