El enfoque investigativo es cualitativo-interpretativo, como referente para el análisis y la interpretación, se plantea la teoría de los imaginarios sociales propuesta por Castoriadis (1989), quien reconoce que las significaciones imaginarias son un magma que construye el ser de la sociedad, se encuentran en el decir y el hacer de los sujetos que encarnan las sociedades, por lo tanto este magma crea formas, figuras y orienta el actuar de los sujetos, así, desde los imaginarios sociales se instituye la sociedad y sus prácticas.The objective of this work is to understand the imaginaries about socio-affective development in early childhood, which have the community mothers of the Lake Timiza association of the Kennedy locality. Four community mothers participated in the research as a focus group.
