Se hace un breve recorrido histórico mostrando como el arte ha estado involucrado en el individuo y en la sociedad con propósitos diferentes a lo técnico o estético. En una primera fase se encontrará la aplicación de las diferentes áreas como: escultura, pintura, teatro, danza, música y literatura, siendo parte de los procesos de rehabilitación. Posterior a esto se expondrá como los resultados de lo trabajado anteriormente conduce a que los usuarios puedan ser partícipes de otros espacios no clínicos permitiendo ser incluidos social y culturalmente. Y por último se evidenciarán los resultados obtenidos durante este proceso.In this text, we find the result of a work carried out through artistic manifestations aimed at people suffering from chronic mental illness, institutionalized in a psychiatric hospital. A brief historical tour is made showing how art has been involved in the individual and in society for purposes other than technical or aesthetic. In a first phase, you will find the application of different areas such as sculpture, painting, theater, dance, music and literature, being part of the rehabilitation processes. Subsequent to this will be exposed, as the results of the previously worked leads to users can be participants in other non-clinical spaces allowing being included socially and culturally.
