Se plantea la obtención del aceite vegetal usado perteneciente a establecimientos comerciales de las localidades de San Cristóbal Sur, Usme y Ciudad Bolívar pertenecientes a la zona sur oriental de la ciudad de Bogotá. El proceso de transesterificación transformará el aceite vegetal en biodiesel de alta calidad, un combustible limpio. Además, se obtendrá glicerina como subproducto, con aplicaciones en la industria química y farmacéutica. Se realizó un análisis financiero, con inversión de inversores (30%) y préstamo bancario (70%). Se proyecta una producción anual de 21,600 galones, con un período de retorno de la inversión de 15.5 meses y rentabilidad a partir del segundo año. El proyecto es viable económicamente, socialmente y ambientalmente. Se propone la creación de una empresa con su propio logo, misión, visión y organigrama para llevar a cabo esta iniciativa.This document presents an entrepreneurial project that focuses on collecting and treating used vegetable oil to produce biodiesel and glycerin. It is proposed to obtain used vegetable oil belonging to commercial establishments in the towns of San Cristóbal Sur, Usme and Ciudad Bolívar belonging to the south-eastern zone of the city of Bogotá. The transesterification process will transform the vegetable oil into high-quality biodiesel, a clean fuel. In addition, glycerin will be obtained as a by-product, with applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries.
