Mediante la tradición oral, este relato suscita un fenómeno barrial que encuentra desde la modernidad, espacio para pensamientos místicos que originan el culto al niño de piedra. La propuesta pictórica Sagrado Corazón de Piedra aborda imaginarios del relato mediante una metamorfosis como narrativa plástica de su promesa, es decir, juega con la idea de cómo el personaje “algún día se levantará para decir con sus propios labios que la historia es cierta”.
