Este documento examina la complejidad del alcance de dicho derecho a través de categorías como la cultura política, el modelo de ciudad neoliberal y la institucionalización de la participación en la ciudad de Bogotá, específicamente en la localidad de Chapinero.During the last decades of the twentieth and the twenty-first century, city building has been framed within the own policies of neoliberalism, leaving outside the interests and points of view that exist outside the market and the economy. Thus, citizen participation becomes vitally important tool within the scope of the right to the city proposed by academics like Lefebvre and Harvey.
