Es el resultado de poner en conjunción procesos de investigación y creación en el campo de los estudios artísticos para explorar las relaciones de género en cada uno de los miembros de mi familia. A través del relato de vida indago en el significado que para mis padres, hermanas, hermano, y para mí mismo, tiene el ser hombre y el ser mujer, acercándome a lugares y prácticas importantes de la cotidianidad familiar como son la casa, la cocina, la espiritualidad. En sí mismo, el relato constituye una herramienta fundamental para abordar los caminos de la memoria familiar, dar cuenta de las maneras de vivir el género, y poner en evidencia la forma de interpretar la maternidad y la paternidad, que corresponden también a lo femenino y lo masculino. Los relatos también dan cuenta de la manera cómo abordé teórica, biográfica e ilustradamente mis cuestionamientos para dar respuesta a la pregunta que generó este proyecto investigativo: ¿Cómo se han dado las relaciones de género en mi sistema familiar cercano?This work is a journey through the family experience lived with men and women from my close family system. It is the result of bringing together processes of research and creation in the field of artistic studies to explore gender relations in each one of my family members. Through the life story I enquire into the meaning that, for my parents, sisters, brother and for myself, has being a man and being a woman, getting into important places and practices of everyday family life such as home, cooking, spirituality. In itself, the story is a fundamental tool to approach the paths of family memory, to expose the ways of living the gender, and highlight the way of interpreting motherhood and fatherhood which also correspond to the feminine and the masculine.
