Resumen
The image contains news about the Provincial Attorney's Report. Although the ordinance of January 19, 1856 does not require the presentation of a report by the Provincial Attorney. The report details a series of judicial business that has passed through his office, including property disputes, breaches of contracts and debt claims. Cases stand out, such as the Ponce brothers' lawsuit over a Hospital house and Gregorio Anjel's donation to the House of Refuge, which face delays in their resolution. In addition, the problem of indigenous reservations in various districts that affect the rights of indigenous people is addressed. The report suggests the need for additional powers for parish solicitors, as well as reforms to revenue accounting to prevent abuse and centralize deceased accounts. The report concludes with the proposal of measures to protect the interests of indigenous people, including the restriction of the power to sell land. News published in El Repertorio. October 7, 1856.
