Resumen
The image contains news about a report, addressed to the Minister of State from Bogotá in January 1832, which highlights the importance of agriculture in the province of Bogotá and proposes measures for its development. The diversity of natural resources in the region is mentioned, such as vanilla, cocoa, coffee, cinchona and others, which could be successfully cultivated. It is noted that, despite previous cultivation attempts, restrictions imposed by the Spanish government have hindered its development. The potential of cinchona cultivation is especially highlighted and it is suggested that products such as rubber, guaco and grill sauce could also be promoted. The exemption of municipal and export taxes for these productions is proposed, in order to promote their development and contribute to the economic growth of the province.
