Decreto No. 18

Abstract

The image contains news about decree number 18, considering that smallpox has reappeared in the population and taking into account what is prescribed in chapter 3, title 8, book 2 of the police code, it decrees: Article 1 is mandatory vaccination for all inhabitants of the municipality. People who refuse to be vaccinated or who prevent their children, wives or dependents from being vaccinated will suffer a fine of one to twenty-five pesos. Article 2 All parents or heads of family and directors of schools, colleges or other establishments that have children or other people of any age in their care, will make appropriate arrangements, under a fine of ten to fifty pesos, so that before a month they are all vaccinated.
