Porno-aprendices: un análisis crítico de la ponografía en la televisión colombiana

Abstract

Pornography has been part of global culture for decades, and Colombia is no exception, as its presence in contemporary society is ubiquitous and can be seen in different formats. Despite its widespread consumption, national media have not taken a very important role in participation in comparison, as their coverage of the topic focuses more on the content of their series and novels than on information and education. This lack of coverage and public debate has led to the consumption of pornography in Colombia being an "open secret", where people participate in this activity without discussing it or reflecting on its personal and sociocultural implications. It is for this reason that this research seeks to determine how national media address information about pornography and its impact on its audience. Through an exhaustive analysis that aims to shed light on the nature of this "open secret" and its relevance in contemporary Colombian society.
