La imagen contiene una noticia acerca de Maltratamiento de animales dirigido al Sr. Gerente de la Compañía de Tranvías de Bogotá, mencionando que las Leyes de policía prohíben en absoluto el maltratamiento de los animales, y como se observa con frecuencia que los cocheros de la empresa hieren, con fuertes garrotes las mulas que tiran de los carros, me veo en el imprescindible deber de suplicar a usted haga a sus empleados las prevenciones del caso para que cesen esos actos de crueldad inaudita, porque si no se corrigen, forzoso será aplicarles las penas que señala el artículo 486 del Código de Policía.
