Este artículo examina el concepto de gramática oracional y las dificultades que comporta en el estudio de la lengua y la literatura. También, se plantea la necesidad de una gramática funcional para la enseñanza escolar de la lengua, para hacerla más práctica en su función de instrumento de comunicación. Así mismo, se realiza un breve ejercicio de análisis en procura de desarrollar algunas estrategias didácticas.
In this article there are examined the concept of grammar, the difficulties that this concept presents in the study of the language and literature and therefore it proposes the need of a functional grammar.
