The school as a conducive space for boys and girls to generate bonds and interact with their peers, has become a space in which interpersonal relationships and dealing with others have become difficult, in the sense that many students they end up being victims of discrimination, ridicule and rejection by their peers; thus generating insecurities that affect their academic and social daily life; In other cases, the relationship between individuals with deep-rooted discrimination stereotypes and some subjects in training linked to the school, leads to many of them ending up contaminated with attitudes of segregation, contempt and little empathy for the other. In this work, we sought to generate spaces that would promote interaction between 4th grade students of the Higher Normal I.E.D Nocaima, María Goretti headquarters and also recognize pedagogical practices in attention to diversity and inclusion; and especially to contribute to the strengthening of the inclusion policies that are had in the institution, with the intention of reducing exclusion and generating processes of self-recognition and that of the other as a different and important subject. For all this, it is necessary for individuals to be able to recognize, value and respect differences and what better space than the school to teach the importance of empathy with the other, making use of their own resources such as institutional inclusion policies, which can be strengthened taking into account suggestions and findings from this research.
