| dc.description | It is hard to think about the relationship between the photographic arts and politics because discomfort invades photography to the point that recent political manipulations produce deception and use photography for this purpose. We must redefine and place in a dialectic the concepts of aesthetics and politics. And for that, we need to analyze the evolution, during half a century, of the conditions and modalities of production of photographic reporting, in particular of war reporting, and study the ideological conditions of exhibition, display and communication of the photographic images - in museums, in the press and on the internet. | dc.description | Es difícil pensar las relaciones entre arte fotográfico y política, ya que un malestar invade la fotografía a tal punto que las manipulaciones políticas recientes producen engaños y utilizan la fotografía para estos fines. Debemos redefinir y dialectizar los conceptos de estética y política. Y, para esto, debemos analizar la evolución, durante medio siglo, de las condiciones y las modalidades de producción de reportajes fotográficos, en particular de los reportajes de guerra, y estudiar las condiciones ideológicas de presentación, de exposición y de comunicación de la imágenes fotográficas producidas, y hacer esto en los museos, en la prensa y en el Internet.
