Resumen
This dissertation is focused on a design of a management energy system for an isolated micro-grid. The management system is based on a workload schedule.
In the first stage of this dissertation, it is shown the work philosophy and several approaches of micro-grids. Also in this stage, it is shown the development and implementation of several systems based on sources of alternative energy into Colombia.
While in the second stage, it is exhibited the topology for the micro-grid, which one is chose, with the models, which ones are developed and implemented with computer aided design (CAD), for each one devices from the micro-grid.
Throughout the third stage, there are shown several control frameworks for micro-grids. This control frameworks could be classified in two groups. On one hand there are local control frameworks, like as MPPT tracking (Maximum Power Point Tracking, it have the aim of optimize the work-point of the sources), control of regulated voltage or current (it have the aim of control the DC bus) and the workload schedule (it knows what load should be a priority). On the other hand, it is the global framework of the energy management which have the aim of managing the generated energy in the best way (it is dependable of the conditions in the generation and the priority of the micro-grid).
Additionally to the three stages, it is shown the engineering design for the instrumental and control at the prototype. Plus the plans of the circuit and the explanation of the app developed.
