Abstract

This writing focuses on the creative process of the 2022-3 degree assembly of the work titled “MARIA MANDINGA”, motivated by the story of the Nobel Prize winner Gabriel García Márquez with “Of love and other demons” directed by Jorge Romero Mora. Working with a collaborative approach, the author documents and analyzes the challenges faced and the learning acquired as an actor, highlighting his interdisciplinary contribution. This personal reflection highlights his professional and personal growth throughout the creation and performance of the work, addressing issues of identity, culture, and freedom. The work emphasizes the transformative role of theater as a means of reflection and communication, and highlights how music acts as a common thread and trigger in its contributions to the creative process, enriching the interpretation and its result.
