La certeza vulnerable

Abstract

The purpose of this degree project is to provide the viewer a different point of view about Epilepsy, from the fine and visual arts, starting from the intimacy that provides a basis to the validation of the singularity and generates a dichotomy between interiority and exteriority, throughtout the narrative that pretends to reproduce the path prints of experiences embodied in scars and stories that have occurred, mostly in a room. The project itself, offers a creative character hypothesis,that uses the installation as a resource to recreate the bedroom that I lived at the age of twelve, time when I was diagnosed with generalized epilepsy. Aslant of specific objects and different experiences confined to each of these (each object itself, is laden with meanings and events that in one way or another, have been protagonists in the 19 years that I have been convulsing) it is explore the intimacy space that represents the dormitory. Be a place of protection, shelter of thoughts, prodigies cabinet or reliquary, this space refers to a private landscape that must be explained by the one who makes the invitation to momentarily occupy this metaphor of the brain and memory, this chamber of registry.
