Entre la precisión y el riesgo : análisis y reflexiones sobre la puesta en escena de Come and Go de Samuel Beckett y la variación de las acotaciones y el género dramático

Abstract

This writing is a theoretical complement to the process of creating a new play set using Samuel Beckett's work: ¨Come and Go¨ as a starting point. In this text, the process is described, the exercises carried out during the various stages are presented, some reflections about the original text are revealed and a series of analyzes about the director's work in the creative process are presented. During the creation of the act intentionally were transposed the dimensions, the detailed notes on the staging and the dramatic genre of the work in order to create a play set with a three-part version. The first version preserves, in a reliable way, the characteristics of the original text and in the two additional versions, characteristic aspects of the piece genre and comic elements of the clown were incorporated. The result was a different and original vision of the same dramatic text. The implementation of this risky version was carried out thanks to the collaboration of a team of artists from different disciplines, who contributed, from different areas and creative elements to join and develop a unique and fun style of work.
