This paper shows an experimental study about the behavior of the impulse current through three varistors connected in parallel and the energy dissipated by each one. To carry out the experimental work, the measurement of the non-linearity coefficient and the impulse current by each one of them are done. The current is type current impulse 8/20 s, 5 kA peak current. The results and the analysis are presented in the article.
