La nave: Tuning del bicitaxi, su estética y relación con las dinámicas del barrio popular, Bosa.

Abstract

This work is based on the experiences lived in the device used as a means of transportation and known as "bicitaxi", which has been transformed over time and used by social classes with economic difficulties that are transported from the outskirts of the city. Perimeters where different social and cultural dynamics unfold, this seen and reflected in the aesthetics of the pedicabs because their alternative and informal nature allows audio and visual expression in a distinctive way to the usual or "normal" vehicles such as SITP or Transmilenio , interventions carried out by their drivers, obtaining as a result a "tuned" vehicle, a term extracted from the American language and known as "tuning" which in its translation is equivalent to "tuning" and refers to the personalization and "improvement" of the physical and functional appearance of a vehicle commonly applied in automobiles. As a result of this exploration and close experience with pedicabs, my interest was born in carrying out a specific study of the diverse aesthetics that emerge as a result of these daily and cultural practices, in a way that allows me to create my own mobile object, with particular elements that identify me, but surely by appropriating a symbolic element of the community, which, being common as part of the identity of the locality, constitutes me as a collaborating citizen in the sociocultural construction of Bosa.
