The image contains news about the minutes of the Sessions of the Provincial Legislature from October 5 to 12, 1855. On October 5, 1855, a session of the Provincial Legislature was held in Bogotá. The session opened at 9 in the morning with the presence of several members, with the exception of Mr. Carlos Manrique. The minutes of previous sessions were approved and the voting records for Deputies to the Constituent Assembly of the province of Bogotá were opened. The voting records of the different parish districts of the province were read and the counting was carried out. The candidates with the most votes in favor were declared. After reading the results, the president adjourned the session at 7 p.m.
The next day, October 6, the opening of the voting records of the parish districts continued, and the counting of the votes was carried out. The results were compiled, showing the candidates with the most votes in favor. The number of votes for each candidate was detailed. As there were no other matters to discuss, the president adjourned the session at 10 in the morning.
As for the weather, precipitation is forecast in the western and central areas of the country in the next few hours. Moderate to heavy rain is expected in both the west and the central area of the country, with ranges of 20mm to 70mm and 30mm to 60mm respectively. In the following sessions, the resignation of former Magistrate Mr. Manuel María Medina was discussed, accounts and ordinance projects were reviewed, and elections and approvals of proposals were carried out.
