Resumen
The importance of building citizen participation networks and their role in local and regional development. Explains the concept of participation networks and their importance in political decision-making. Analyzes the legal framework and historical background of citizen participation in Colombia. Identifies the challenges and opportunities to strengthen citizen participation in the department of Putumayo. How to promote active community participation in local planning and development processes. The program highlights the importance of citizen participation as a fundamental mechanism to build more just and equitable societies. Emphasis is placed on the need to strengthen participation processes through education, training and the creation of spaces for dialogue between different social actors. The program presents an in-depth analysis of the topic, combining theoretical elements with practical examples. The importance of the role of educational institutions in the formation of participatory citizens is highlighted. The community is called upon to get involved in decision-making processes and to demand greater transparency and accountability from governments. From the legal aspect, the 1991 Constitution and Law 134 of 1994 are mentioned, which established a solid legal framework for citizen participation in Colombia.
