Resumen
The image contains news about the Law on the provisional organization of the State Government, which establishes temporary measures for the state administration. It provides that the laws of the Republic will continue to govern the State and its territories, as well as the constitutions, ordinances and municipal agreements, as long as they do not contradict the state laws. In addition, a State Governor is appointed provisionally, who will exercise the Executive Power. The State is divided into three departments: Bogotá, Neiva and Mariquita, each headed by a Prefect appointed by the governor. The Court of Justice of Bogotá will function as the Supreme Court of the State, with an additional interim magistrate. Provincial and parish employees will maintain their positions, while those in the executive and revenue branches will be freely appointed and dismissed by the Governor or the Prefects. News published in Gaceta de Cundinamarca. October 29, 1857.
