Abstract

From the architectural design in which a provider offers business services to its users by implementing web services so that these are consumed from applications on mobile devices, there can be a strong dependence between the client software component, and the technical definition of the contract of consumed web service. One problem that must be addressed is the updating of elements such as the consumption address and the structure of the data defined in the SOAP message. To reduce the dependency of the client application with the services exposed by a web service provider, a mechanism is proposed in which an agent installed in the mobile device intervenes with the ability to search and interpret the changes arising in the services contract and make autonomous consumption, through conceptual and theoretical tools provided by the semantic web.
