Abstract

The challenges involved in the construction of new poetics and ways of doing theater are latent motivations in the Colombian theater scene and in acting academies. Therefore, beyond continuing to build theories that become avant-garde of what exists, this work seeks to rescue a proposal that began in Colombia from the same concerns; all this in order to discover new paths that help nurture current questions. This work reconstructs the experience of the play "El Hilo de Ariadna", premiered in the eighties, and directed by Enrique Vargas. This work was the result of an investigation carried out for the first time by the Scenic Image Laboratory group of the National University of Colombia and represented a milestone in Bogota's creative spaces, expanding its innovative proposal to many corners of the world, consolidating the creation of The Theater of the Senses. In this document, the recovery of the experience of the work of art was carried out based on different reviews, the press and the little bibliographic material that exists around the work, hand in hand with interviews carried out with those who saw the work at the time. Said material is the guiding thread to arrive at certain reflections regarding the nature of post-dramatic proposals in Colombia and how the postulates inaugurated by the Teatro de los Sentidos can help to broaden and enrich the teaching and practice of dramatic theater in Colombia. our acting academies.
