Abstract

The image contains news about the resolutions of the Executive Branch on the eligibility of the members of the parish councils. This resolution addresses the question of whether the members of the parish councils should be from Granada in exercise of the rights of citizens. The Interior Office concludes that such a requirement applies only to jobs with political or judicial authority or jurisdiction. Given that parish councils are administrative entities without political authority or judicial jurisdiction, their members are not subject to said constitutional requirement. Furthermore, it is established that the participants in the deliberations of the council are not considered public employees, so the aforementioned restriction cannot be applied to them.
