Abstract

The radio program "Voices and Regions" discussed the role of citizen participation in Colombia's peace process. Dr. Luis Aisa highlighted the lack of citizen representation in the negotiations in Havana, emphasizing that the process has been led by a group of "notables" without real inclusion of victims and affected communities. The discussion also addressed the impact of armed conflict in Arjona, a region with a high rate of forced displacement. Officer Pérez presented initiatives by the Community Police to promote peace among young people, highlighting the importance of integration spaces and violence prevention. The need for greater dissemination of these projects and the urgency of strengthening cultural identity in the post-conflict context were also emphasized.
