Hip Hop al Parque 2009

Abstract

The festival reaches its 13th edition, consolidating itself as one of the events that, in addition to promoting hip-hop culture, seeks to foster respect and healthy coexistence among the city's youth. Hip-Hop al Parque took place from October 13 to 18 in Simón Bolívar Metropolitan Park and will bring together the best exponents of this urban expression. In its 13th year, Hip-Hop al Parque has made a commitment to cultural and youth rights, focusing its message on how this festival has been a space for exercising rights within the framework of a development plan that aims to recognize a city of rights and a right to the city. In addition to musical performances, sports, and dance demonstrations, this year the festival will host commercial and academic activities such as talks, workshops, and the Second Meeting of Hip-Hop Training Centers.
