Resumen
The collaborative work of Universidad Santo Tomás (Bogotá campus), through its Faculty of Environmental Engineering, the Academic Research Network in Environmental Control and Management (RAICGA), and Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, through its Environmental Sanitation Technology program, led to the significant and special III International Congress on Clean Technologies, IV International Seminar on Sanitation, Environment, and Development, and III National Seminar on Environmental Pollution Management and Control, held in Bogotá in November 2018. This event brought together over 300 undergraduate and graduate students, featured six keynote addresses, and included 53 presentations. The synergy among the organizing universities fostered the sharing of completed research projects, experiences, and developments in environmental issues, among other topics of particular value to the city, the region, and the country.
