The image contains a news item about manumission in which it reports that in the province of Bogotá no slaves lived in its territory, it is also stated that in the month of May 1451 slaves in which they aspired to reduce the rate of slavery with those from the canton, on the other hand, report on the death of Mr. José María Lozano and a few days later Mrs. Petronila de Castro leaving her property and no heirs, for which they state that 300 slaves will be manumitted. La imagen contiene una noticia acerca de la manumisión en el cual informa que en la provincia de Bogotá no habitaran esclavos en su territorio, así mismo se manifiesta que en el mes de mayo 1451 esclavos en el cual aspiraban que se redujera la tasa de esclavitud con los donde del cantón, por otro lado se informa sobre la muerte del señor José María Lozano y a los pocos días la señora Petronila de Castro dejando sus bienes y sin herederos, por el cual manifiestan que 300 esclavos serán manumitidos.
