Abstract

The internship was developed in the company PAVCO WAVIN Colombia, in which support was given to the different environmental activities established within the framework of environmental management and the sustainable development of the organization. Among the activities are: monitoring of environmental programs, management of waste generated within the organization, activities focused on reducing waste as a corporate goal, compliance with the environmental monitoring schedule (water, air and noise), management of complaints community assessments, updating of environmental matrices, closure of NCs submitted during internal and external audits, application and participation in PREAD, among others. During the exercise of the internship, it is evident that the company is committed to complying with environmental regulations and presents environmental strategies with great potential to reduce impacts, however, the lack of articulation between the different areas of the company does not allow a commitment. of the organization, which does not allow 100% compliance with some of the environmental objectives.
