Resumen
The state of the rolling surface or bearing layers is one of the most important factors to consider on the roads, because the finality of the way is give safety and comfort to the user; because of that the road should remain the original design conditions during the operation time and is important to evaluate with regularity the surface and texture of the layers that is make it up. The identification of this factors have always been evaluate through laboratory test, some of those test at the end are expensive and require a lot of time to do the test. For this reason, this study show a comparison between the images taken with a conventional camera Nikon COOLPIX S2900 and the laboratory test like the TRRL pendulum slip resistance (INV E 792) and the sand circle (INV E-791) to know if by the images process, you can determinate the texture and rugosity of a flexible flooring. The study is made on briquettes made it by the Marshall method for types samples MDC-19, MDC-25 and MDC-10 compacted with 75, 50 and 25 hits, with a total of 27 briquettes with the coefficient of friction and the depth of the texture obtained in the laboratory, we make a comparison with the calculated areas by the image process taken to each briquettes and starting from graphic analysis, we get a final result for each briquette.
