| dc.description | After a short review of the museum and its transformation over time, the article tackles the importance of politics in its administration. Then, we reflect on the conflicts, tensions and some openings that are taking place at the global level, stemming from complex dynamics and the dispute between the State and the Market for the possession of heritage assets, which are sheltered in museums. From this context, we offer a brief reflection on the current state of museums in Bolivian society and on their role for the twenty-first century. | en-US |

Luego, en función de la dinámica global y la disputa entre el Estado y el Mercado por la posesión de los bienes patrimoniales, que son resguardados en los museos, se reflexiona acerca de los conflictos, las tensiones y algunas salidas que se están dando en el plano global.
