In Popayán some famous obsequies were being prepared in honor of the olive grove for the 17th of the present. La imagen presenta una noticia acerca de: “Todo el mundo se queja de la dificultad que presenta el mercado por menor, por la escases de la moneda de cuartillos. lo que servirá de aviso a quien pueda remediar el mal. En Popayán se preparaban unas famosas exequias en honra de olivar para el 17 del presente. Honor también a los hijos ilustres de Popayán", publicada en el Constitucional de Cundinamarca, Bogota (69) Pag. 279, Col. 2-3, Diciembre 25-1842.
