La imagen contiene una noticia acerca de una contestación brindada por el doctor Vicente Lombana, la cual dice que contribuirá con los dos pesos mensuales que la junta de beneficencia solicitó luego de esto ofrece también un puesto en el bazar de Veracruz para que puedan establecer allí una oficina central de beneficencia. Después de esto aparece la contestación hacia el señor Vicente Lombana en la cual agradece la junta su contribución. Noticia publicada en el diario de Cundinamarca, 14 de abril de 1870.
