Resumen
Atlantis, a mythical continent located between the civilizations of the Mediterranean and the Near East, according to Plato's accounts. The cultural connections between various ancient civilizations and the possible influence of Atlantean peoples are analyzed. Theories about the existence of Atlantis and its relationship with cultures of Central and South America are explored, comparing constructions such as pyramids. Despite the lack of conclusive evidence, interest in investigating this historical mystery persists, integrating ancient perspectives and modern findings. The work invites reflection on cultural continuity and the search for common roots in humanity. It examines diverse perspectives on Atlantis, from Plato's dialogues to modern theories linking it to hidden dimensions or parallel worlds. Possible cultural ties between ancient civilizations, such as the Egyptians and pre-Columbian cultures, are mentioned, and similarities in constructions and traditions are considered.
The author also explores the idea that Atlantis may have been a center of cultural radiation towards both sides of the Atlantic. In addition, a personal account is included that describes a dream encounter with Poseidon, who reveals details about the Atlantean civilization and its social organization. The divisions of the Atlantean population after the catastrophe and their mission to transmit knowledge to other cultures are mentioned. The reconstruction of the main city, Amariylx, and the hierarchical structure of Atlantean society are also described. In the concluding chapter, the nature of dreaming and how water can evoke memories and deep connections with the past are reflected upon. The possibility is raised that Atlantis, beyond being a physical place, represents an archetype in the collective unconscious.
