dc.descriptionEl trabajo se centra en el proceso pedagógico desarrollado entre los uitotos de la Amazonia, cuyo propósito es preparar a los miembros de su comunidad para la vida, en desarrollo de una práctica educativa totalmente democrática, donde los mejores son investidos de autoridad por la instancia comunitaria máxima que es su memoria colectiva. Se trata de una aplicación en la que no se vive para aprender como un fin en sí mismo, sino que se aprende para vivir y para dotar a los individuos de motivos para llevar adelante la principal de las misiones humanas: la vida.es-ES
dc.descriptionThe work is centered in the developed pedagogical process of the uitotos of the Amazonia, whose intention is to prepare the member of its community for life. This is achived thrugh the development of a totally democratic educative practice, where the best ones are invested with authority by the higher communitarian instance that is its collective memory. The article presents an aplication in which it is not lived to learn like an aim in itself, but that is learned to live and to equip the individuals with reasons to put forwaed humans main mission: life itself.en-US
