Walter Benjamin, "Experience and poverty" It would be very easy to circumscribe the question of Art and Culture to a relationship of strategic exchange between the great art - that of museums and the museal - and high culture. Such a relationship, although dynamic, would not call into question the limits or the nature of any of them. In this sense, the Binomial Art-Culture, would account for the redistribution of meanings and their benefits, as well as their necessary updating before the permanent revolution of late capitalism, in the reflective, and apparently permissive, postmodern society. All the above is developed from a vision that seeks the production of difference, and its reabsorption and integration from the hegemonic and institutional centers, which seem that the asymmetries and the colonial condition are situations that have remained in the past, or that are a consequence of underdevelopment. | en-US |

Walter Benjamin, “Experiencia y pobreza”Resultaría muy fácil circunscribir la pregunta por el Arte y la Cultura a una relación de intercambio estratégico entre el gran arte —el de los museos y lo museal— y la alta cultura. Tal relación, aunque dinámica, no pondría en duda los límites ni la naturaleza de ninguno de ellos. En este sentido, el binomio Arte-Cultura, daría cuenta de la redistribución de los significados y sus beneficios, así como de su necesaria actualización ante la revolución permanente del capitalismo tardío, en la reflexiva, y en apariencia permisiva, sociedad postmoderna. Todo lo anterior se desarrolla desde una visión que busca la producción de diferencia, y su reabsorción e integración desde los centros hegemónicos e institucionales, que aparentan que las asimetrías y la condición colonial son situaciones que han quedado en el pasado, o que son una consecuencia del subdesarrollo. | es-ES |
