Resumen
The first episode of the radio program "Voices and Regions" of the Directorate for Citizen Participation and Community Action of the Ministry of the Interior focuses on citizen participation in the department of Risaralda. Eduardo Montoya, Victoria Giraldo, Sebastián Jiménez and Albert Cárdenas present the program and discuss the different forms of citizen participation, including private, social and political participation. The governor of Risaralda, Carlos Alberto Botero López, highlights the participatory budget processes and citizen meetings in the department. In addition, Dr. Ana Carolina Pérez Borges is interviewed about citizen participation mechanisms in Colombia. The initiative "Pereira Cómo Vamos" is also presented, which promotes citizen participation through community interventions.
