The image contains news about a note about the cleanliness of the city of Bogotá, issued on February 3, 1860 by the Government Secretariat of the Grenadine Confederation. The note is addressed to the Prefect of Bogotá, expressing the Governor's concern about the lack of hygiene and order in the city. During an inspection, the Governor observed pigs in the aqueduct and carpentry and stonemasonry workshops in the streets, which violates the Police Code. Pradilla criticizes the negligence of the municipal authorities and urges the Prefect to take immediate measures to improve cleanliness and order, insisting that inspectors must patrol the streets and fulfill their responsibilities with greater diligence.
