Abstract

The image contains news about different letters that were sent by different authors, for example the first letter talks about the climate, mountain systems and what negative or positive effects these climatic factors bring, this first letter was written by Ospina Vásquez, another of the news mentions putting into service two steamships written by W. P. Mc Greevery, another of the letters also mentions climatic factors and natural resources such as mountain systems and the Tequendama waterfall and makes a comparison between Bogotá and Caracas, where it is said that Bogotá is more preferable, especially because of its climate. Finally, a census that was carried out in 1825 and characteristics of the streets, platforms and highways of Bogotá are mentioned. News published in the newspaper Banco de la República, (1975).
