Diario de un peregrino

Abstract

Three years ago I made a trip to South America as a backpacker, an important journey in my personal development. Today I want to share part of the record of this journey through drawing and show the psychological and physical change that occurred in me. By referring to the act of walking, relating the traffic crossing boundaries, geographical boundaries, and recall actions and events that occurred during the journey, I intend from a log in diary form (accompanied by a photo album) capture some moments of my trip, I inputs which generate stories, anecdotes and circumstances that occurred during the journey. Drawing as a main source project is used to reminisce tour events that reveal personal transformation. The drawings will be suspended in the air, arranged in a linear manner, almost like a divider wall panel or creating a passable way street spaces for the viewer. Turn the installation into an almost labyrinthine space exposing places, people, self-portraits during travel as a pilgrim permeated my memory as meaningful memories.
