Abstract

In this edition of Crewmates, contestants Daniel, Ana María, Nicolás, Juan Diego, and Mario embark on a journey through the universe of superheroes, exploring their origins, powers, and weaknesses. With the participation of biologist Elías Torero, they discuss the possibility of superheroes existing in real life, how their powers would compare to those of iconic characters like Superman and Dr. Manhattan, and how the consequences of their actions would be handled. The program also addresses the presence of important female superheroes, the idea of hidden villains among ordinary people, and how science and human evolution might, or might not, give rise to extraordinary abilities. It closes with a reflection on the true heroes of everyday life and a call to action against climate change.
